CBIC extends the due date of filing of GSTR-1 for registered person with aggregate turnover of more than 1.5 crores

The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on October 15, 2020 has issued a notification extending the time limit for the filing of Form GSTR-1 which specifies the furnishing of details of outward supplies. The class of registered persons, who have an aggregate turnover of more than 1.5 crores, in the preceding financial year or the current financial year for each of the months from October, 2020 to March, 2021 till the eleventh day of the month succeeding such month.
