The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) on February 25, 2021 has amended the notification no. 29/2017- Customs (ADD) dated June 14, 2017 which specifies the imposition of ADD on goods originating or imported from China PR.
The following amendment has been made:
• Paragraph 3, which specifies the timeline for imposition of ADD, has been inserted, namely:
“Notwithstanding anything contained in paragraph 2, the anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall remain in force up to and inclusive of June 28, 2021, unless revoked, superseded or amended earlier.”
