Labour Compliance

The Ministry of Labour & Employment (MoLE) on April 23, 2021, revises the rates of Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA) for employees employed in construction or maintenance of roads or runways or in building operations including laying down underground electric, wireless, radio, television, telephone, telegraph and overseas communication cables and similar other underground cabling work, electric lines, water supply line and sewerage pipelines with an increase in the average price index of 2.88 points.

Therefore, the minimum rates of wages including the basic rates and Variable Dearness Allowance payable from April 01, 2021 to the employees working as mentioned above will be as under:
